Holism in science is the study of component systems through their context in relation to one another and the whole. This site endeavors to create teaching environments that range from the micro to the macro. In ways otherwise unattainable, play can introduce children to comprehending complexities.

Interfacing with living systems allows children the opportunity to take not just physical risks during play, but conceptual risks as well. Through understanding how systems interact materially, and in real time, students are able to more accurately perceive the world around them and their place within it.
